Introduction to IT, Net and Web applications –
Hands-on Training Program for 11 and 12 class students.
The purpose of this training program is to familiarize the students of clases 11 and 12 with certain topics in the IT, Net and Web domain that will help them in their post-school phase, be it higher studies, vocational training or immediate work assignments. The topics covered would include the following:

Word Processing (English & Tamil).

Document Preparations - including Slides, Tables, Charts, Images, Columns, Emojis etc.

Handling Emails - Gmail and its basic features, Managing emails in various folders. Synchronizing with Cellphones.

Spread Sheet and Basic Accounting Software.

Using e-commerce sites - for Train / Bus Tickets / Hotel Bookings / Amazon / Flipkart with Credit / Debit Card.

Bill Payments - QR code Electricity / Water / Gas / House Tax / etc. with Credit / Debit Card.

Image Capturing by Smart phone, Editing, Sharing through email/Whatsapp - Overwriting Text on Images..

Video Recording, Editing, Uploading to Youtube.

Safety and Security on the Net/Web.
The Program is conducted at the Computer Centre, MIT Campus of Anna University during 9.00-12.00 on Saturdays.
